IMPORTANT UPDATE! Please read. Concerns AC-Maps future.
Well FINALLY another update! First of all I want to apologise for the downtime that has been happening quite a lot lately, I've been away and since I am the one and only person who runs the site I was unaware of the problems.
It was always my intention and plan to expand the site when Assassins Creed 2 came out, but with the resession and my unfortunate unemploymemt I have a serious lack of funds so I have not been able to pick up the game yet.
Besides AC2 I also wanted to expand the site to include great guides for even more games in the usual and unique AC-Maps way.
Now comes the bit I don't enjoy.. Donations. Over the lifetime of the site there have been a few generous people who have donated money to the site, but it's that time of the year again when funds are required to pay for the site and as already mentioned my plans for expanding the site.
My goals for 2010 are to get the planned new AC2 guide up and running, completely overhaul the main site, perhaps create new sites under a common "brand".. BADLY need to get the Google Ads going better as up until now they have been pretty useless.
Basically that is my hopes... but the point of all this is I am in desperate need of donations from people who use the site and find it useful. It's donations that will keep the site alive and the bills are due before the end of this month, and then it depends on what donations I recieve that will determine how far the site will go from here.
Every little helps, and it all adds up. You can find a link to donate via PayPal on the Donate page. The site is set up to accept PayPal balance, Credit/Debit cards, PayPal eCheques etc and you can even donate with Credit/Debit cards without even having a PayPal account.
Alright so enough about all that. I want to wish a HUGE Merry christmas and a happy new year to all AC-Maps users! I hope you all have a wonderful time over the holidays. Hopefully AC-Maps will also do alright with Xmas gifts if you know what I mean ;)
